“GRAMPS CUSTOM RODS” CONSTRUCTION
There are several key factors that lend themselves to a quality fishing rod:
Only quality name brand blanks of graphite, fiberglass, boron, or composite   materials are used.
The blank spine is located, this step is critical to the overall performance of any rod...no matter the style.
All components such as the reel seat & handle/grip material, are glued in place using a two part slow cure epoxy glue.
Only top notch, quality guides are used. All guides are properly spaced according to the rod type, action( flex), & power... and aligned along the rod spine.
Top of the line guide wrap thread is used. I utilize the Florhan Lock Wrap on all single foot guides to ensure they will not pull out from under the wraps.
Slow cure two-part epoxy finish is used on the guide wraps, labels, and any personalization to ensure a long lasting and beautiful finish on your custom rod.
